Crowd of supporters were at the Port Harcourt International Airport on Saturday evening to welcome him back from Abuja. Addressing the people, Wike said that:“the ungodly political gang-up in Abuja will never compel him to abandon the mandate given to him freely by Rivers people.
He also stressed that the judgement of the tribunal which removed him was tantamount to a lower court over-ruling a superior court, this he said is unknown to the law.
